ScrumWorks Pro 4.5 Change Log

We're excited to announce the release of ScrumWorks Pro 4.5. This post supplements the release notes by providing a detailed list of changes and impacts.

4.5 Change Log:

* ScrumWorks Pro is now available as a hosted solution.

* Optional strong password enforcement. Site administrator can modify a configuration xml file to enable strong passwords site wide. Please see documentation for specific password constraints. Strong passwords are disabled by default.

* Email field is now mandatory for all users. The ScrumWorks roadmap includes email-based password resets and this is a small step toward that capability. Note, existing users will be unaffected after upgrade; however, editing existing users will subsequently require an email address.

* Code signing certificate update. Thawte issued CollabNet a new code signing certificate. Unfortunately, the new certificate's root signing certificate is only recognized by Sun's JRE version 1.6_19 or higher. Please see the community site for suggested work arounds if using anything below JRE 1.6_19.
