Quick sub-total of selected stories

I'd like to be able to select multiple stories and see the total Backlog Effort and Task Hours for those items. This is similar to something provided by Excel, which shows the Average, Count and Sum in the status bar of any cells you select together.

This would be really useful, for example, when considering which stories would make a good set for a Sprint. At present, you either have to drag stories in and out of Sprints (generating numerous email alerts and confusing the team), or do the math manually.

It would also be useful for analysing groups of stories within Sprints, or in the Program view, so it should also work there.

I can think of other times when it would be useful to be able to see a quick sub-total of hours remaining for a set of selected Tasks, as well. Could you add that to the feature request?
