Hi Rob,

No it cannot. Currently the 2 options are an embedded Hypersonic SQL database or a MySQL database.

I have changed this question as an idea so that others looking for this can weigh in. I also modified the title to reflect that. If there is anything you would like to add, or would like the title changed further please let us know.
