error while login to scrumwork decktop client

i have installed scrumworks basic, seems to be working from my old PC. on my new PC i downloaded the latest java version but i get below error when trying to login

currently i have installed below java version

    Hi chandreshsoni,

    I have looked over my previous cases and the one instance I could find of this specific error was resolved, but the customer never told me how they resolved it.

    At the time the issue appeared to be a problem with either a Proxy connection, or a network connectivity problem. I am not sure if they resolved the issue by fixing a network issue, or by turning off a Proxy unfortunately.

    Hi Caleb,

    If the company has acknowledged the problem, can they also provide a work-around or details to the impacting components? Why not have some of us help them out finding a solution.

    Hi Cmcphail,

    Unfortunately there is no current development on ScrumWorks Basic. It is provided free and as-is. We attempt to provide what support we can, and will acknowledge issues, but at this time there is very little or no development of ScrumWorks Basic. I know of no work arounds for Proxy issues, and as Basic is unsupported we do not have the resources to solve every issue.

    This is due to the nature of Basic, which is version 1.8.4 of ScrumWorks, whereas the newest version of Pro is 4.3. Actual development on Basic stopped back in 2006 when we continued development on the paid Pro version.

    We do hope to have an updated version of Basic available sometime this year, but I don't have any firm dates as to when that may be. I also do not know if Proxy support will be a part of Basic at that time.
