Hello,
I installed scrumworks pro server on windows 7 machine. everything works perfectly as long as i access the server from the 'localhost'. However, when i try to access the website http://localhost:8080/scrumworks (localhost substituted by the name of the system where the server is installed), the connection times out.
I went through the forums and understood that this might be coused by the default configuration of JBoss restricting the access to local host only. One of the workarounds mentioned was to restart the JBoss server with the option '-b 0.0.0.0' to make the default bind address open.
How do i configure the scrumworks server to accept connections from any outside address?
Any help is much appreciated.

Hello,
You may want to check with your network administrator to see if anything is sharing or blocking port 8080.
If you need to change the port, you might want to check out this topic here:

If you have other applications using Jboss on your system, you might want to take a look here:

Windows has a firewall, your network may also have firewalls, etc. Those are good places to start tracking down what may be blocking access by peers on your network.EditDeleteRemove
