Can we change how task estimate changes are propagated?

When we update hours during the day, the hours are not registered until the next day. Many of our developers like to register their hours just before the morning meeting for the previous day and if we do this the scrum works web view is a little out of sync. Is there a way to change this behavior?

Symptom: I update my work spent and estimate in the web view. My colleague refreshes his browser and doesn't see the time changes. Task status changes propagate instantly (e.g. from "In Progress" to "Done")
