I am trying Scrumworks Pro but cannot get the AD log-in to work. I acknowledge that there are differences between AD domains but even still this is driving me crazy as I have managed with other tool.
When logged in as admin I see (in User Manager) all the AD members in the group I can have configured. I am one of the users so I can see what Scrumworks thinks is the Log in ID and i know my password - but it always fails to authenticate me.
The server .log merely gives the following information
2010-05-06 15:09:40,766 DEBUG [org.springframework.jdbc.core.JdbcTemplate] Executing prepared SQL query
2010-05-06 15:09:40,766 DEBUG [org.springframework.jdbc.core.JdbcTemplate] Executing prepared SQL statement [SELECT salt FROM userejb WHERE username=? AND ldapUser=?]
2010-05-06 15:09:40,766 DEBUG [org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DataSourceUtils] Fetching JDBC Connection from DataSource
2010-05-06 15:09:40,766 DEBUG [org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DataSourceUtils] Returning JDBC Connection to DataSource
I have tried all sorts of different case combinations - what else is there to try?

Hi Johnny,
There might be another way to get some information about what the error is. If you enable the java console and restart the desktop client you may find out more: http://community.danube.com/danube/to...
It sounds like you are aware of the case sensitivity. The most common reason for this issue tends to be that AD logins are often not case sensitive, while ScrumWorks is always case sensitive. -
